Frequently asked questions
What documents do you need?
Drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) and ideally a specification and schedules. Vector PDF, DWG, DXF or IFC files give the best results. The more complete the information, the fewer assumptions we need to make.
How accurate are the quantities?
Every pack is checked by a quantity surveyor before it is issued. Quantities are measured strictly from the documents you supply; anything missing or ambiguous is listed as an assumption, exclusion or provisional sum rather than guessed.
Do you use AI?
We use automated takeoff and AI tools to make measurement faster and more consistent. They never issue anything on their own – a QS checks and signs off every BOQ.
Why do I pay upfront?
It keeps our prices low and our service simple. Your fee and delivery date are fixed and confirmed before you pay, and production starts as soon as payment is received.
What if you have questions about my drawings?
We raise a written query on your order page. The delivery clock pauses until you reply, then resumes.
What if my drawings change?
Revised drawings are handled as a new order at a revision rate, so you only pay for what changed.
Do you visit site or attend meetings?
No. This is a document-based service with no site visits, meetings or post-contract variation management.
Can you price the BOQ?
Yes. Choose ‘Priced BOQ’ and we apply rates from our Irish rate bank. Otherwise you receive a quantities-only BOQ ready for your own rates.
Can you follow our own BOQ format?
Yes. Upload a sample of your format (Excel preferred) and we'll match its layout, numbering and columns.
Are my drawings kept confidential?
Yes. Files are stored securely, only accessible to you and our checking team, and are never shared. See our privacy policy for retention periods.
Do you cover the UK?
We're starting in Ireland. UK projects measured to NRM2 are coming soon – contact us if you'd like to be told when.
